Bracket500 had to honor to have a friend in Charley.
I met Charley online through Cal of MD, I asked Cal for some pictures of some of the cars that raced at his track, next thing I know Charley started to send me some pictures for the car gallery I started a few years back in the early days of Baracket500, we became good
email mail pen pals, and once in a while we exchanged emails, after a few month this
past year I didn't hear from Charley, so I dropped him an email, which he replied and again he sent a few more pictures, I then asked him how many drag cars did he have, he replied "quite a few" and a few more pictures came thought, so I jokingly said, "Hey Charley if you ever want to unload some of that weight in your box, I have this holidays give-away for the kids", he never hesitated once and said, "Email me your address".
A few days later a car came in the mail. Charley to me seemed to be a very given person and caring, I never got to meet him personally, but I know one thing, I would have loved to hang around him.
He will be greatly missed in the Bracket500
community.
