After talking to Gary Lum we found out that it was best to flip the chassis over to place the front plate. Due to clearance for the wheelie wheels. |

We had a bit of trouble lining up the axle. as the rules state you can adjust for that by filing the axle hole. |

A wing made of .030 Styrene was added to the back, then primered. |

At Eddies Slot Car World in Vallejo,
CA we had a class we called "Spec Cars" Our bodies had to be pre-70s "A Nostalgia class" I built this Vette for that class, a couple of other built some but the class never got off the ground, there was a VW, an Austin and this Vette. Same spec build as above with the exception of a 15 pinion gear. Now this car for the series "My weekly Results" I changed it to a 16 pinion gear. More about this car.... Click here |
