This car
is a replica of Kieth Engling's Skinny Kid Race Cars Pro Mod Olds and it
was built using the new Revell 1972 Hurst Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible
kit. The following modifications were made, the convertible windshield frame
was removed, donor roof was added, rear quater panel windows filled to the
correct shape, rear wing scratch built from styrene, rocker panels extended,
cowl added to the hood, hole was cut in the hood for the blower and holes
in the fenders for the zoomies. The front bumper was sliced on the ends and
heated to bend it forward, then the ends were filled. This car features details
such as a diecast blower and zoomies, tow hook in the roof, dzus fasteners,
kill switch, battery charge lugs, twin wired and corded chutes, window net,
shoe polish class designation in the windows, lexan windows, custom
decals, T/R tubed interior and three coats of PPG clear. The chassis is a
laser cut copy of the Kentucky Trash inline built using .082 s/s tubing,
Proslot bearings, Protrack wheels, Slick 7 guide, and my custom wheelie wheels.
This is just a bracket car as I do not class race.
